Wasp Stings

I got stung by a wasp!

No idea how it got into the shopping bag. When I put both hands into the plastic to get the blender that I have just bought, it stung both of my thumbs. I thought I got electric shock even though the blender was not connected to an electric outlet. Ough :-(

Not bad. I was able to do things in the correct sequence in an emergency :-)

- Applied Savlon cream that I used for my chicken pox and skin allergy. Remembered it can be used for insect bites.
- Called LT, just in case I have systemic or allergic reaction. Now I know that I will just have local reaction which is not serious.
- Searched on the internet if there was something else I could do. Ough...
- Ran cold water on the wounds for 10 minutes.
- Applied toothpaste on the wounds.
- Cleaned off the toothpaste after 4 hours. Good to go :-)
